Is there anyway to download free ebooks? Or do all ebooks that will be downloaded to my kindle have a price? Can it be free? Like through pdf or something? Please explain, I’m new to this. Thank you very much.

February 21st, 2012So my parents are divorced since I was little like 3 and know I am 14 years old and I now cry myself to sleep sometimes because I feel like when my parents talk bad about eachother that I’m taking sides and I hate that feeling and I have a step dad whos an *** it’s so hard my step parents always fighting my step dad controlling what my real dad can buy me or not example so for my birthday last week my dad bought me a kindle and my step dad said I cannot keep it because my dad didn’t bring me the receipt and my mom says nothing when I know she dosnt agree and my step dad doesn’t know anything about my real dad but he talks badly about him so that ended up being a sugih birthday all my step dad got me was some freaking socks anyway how do I stop feeling sorry for myself pleas give advice people who have dealt with divorce or had step parents

Can I Be Serious With This Guy? (please Read)?
February 21st, 2012Ok im a 15 year old girl I am very mature I have a job at a law firm ( student worker ofcourse) and ive been talking to this guy for about 9 months we were talking and then he started ignoring me after a few months and I was ok with it at first but after a while I decided to look him up on facebook to re kindle our relationship. About 3 months ago we started talking again and he revealed to me that the reason he started ignoring me was because he was in a relationship and the woman he was with was having his child I was ok with this but now I am confused we have probably the best relationship we talk about anything and everything we are taking it really slow. But im worried about a few things and I want your opinions. He’s a music producer and he really wanted to move out to california to spread his “name” but as soon as we started getting serious he said hed rather stay here with me and let our relationship “flourish” i feel honored but should I let him do this? and then the situation with his daughters mom sometimes I feel as if we talk about her a bit too much Ie told him a few times but im the only person he trusts to talk to about it and I love the facts hes open about it but i sometimes feel like hes using me to get back at her but I really doubt that for the simple fact that he really is happy with me and he doesnt want her to know im with him basically. And lastly he obviously helps her out with the costs of the baby and what not so he doesnt have money to spare all the time so he does some things on the side that I really dont like and he knows that but still chooses to do them, i mean he feels guilty and tells me but do I really want to get serious with him
& just so you know how I feel about him I care about him soo much I dont want to just put a stop on our relationship because he really is the only person I can talk to plus his family loves me and my family really like him so I guess it cant end up too bad… right

How Can I Load Any Sort Of Ebook Into My Kindle-for-pc Application So That I Am Able To Read The Book?
February 21st, 2012The Amazon store is in a remote, ‘cloud’ location. However, the Kindle-for-PC app directly downloads ebooks from there.
Here is the difficulty: I need to read ebooks that have come from various other sources and that are already stored on my PC (and not only the ebooks that I have downloaded directly from Amazon).
To clarify the above issue as much as possible, aside from than loading and reading those books that have come directly from the Amazon Kindle store, I simply do not know how to load my other ebooks into this reader app, even when they are already in the Kindle format.
Thus my question: How can I load any sort of ebook into my Kindle-for-PC application so that I am then able to read that book?
If it turns out that the the Kindle-for-PC reader app simply will not load / accept books from my local hard drive, even if they are converted into the Kindle format, then, what other free – or relatively inexpensive – PC ebook reader applications/software could be used?
