very long story short – child is in special school for autistic and aspbergers students. They are not trained in safe restraints and dragged a child out (like a bag) kicking and screaming instead of using calming measures.
Due to circumstances said people worked with said school to promote a better environment instead of going to the PD. Then another incident occurs that leaves bruises (pictures taken). again ‘work’ with staff is implemented thinking it the best solution—not many places to go.
The end–school refuses to accomadate child with simple things like a fan and kindle unless ordered by a doctor–yet they say they want parent-teacher-doctor relationship the parent is cut out completely.
never mind the child is doing 1000times better. owner dont like parents. so makes things hard. kind of a nice way of saying we dont want you here anymore without actually saying it.
anyway the PD could do nothing with the abuse other than take a report. even though pictures and child explained in vivid details what took place.
What other options are there? Law seems useless unless you have a gun in your hand at the time.
Basically for 18k someone got a poor education, they lied to about it, and used excessive and unsafe force twice–in a special needs school who are trained to deal with ‘special needs’.
Child wasnt going to continue at school anyway but this is just plain wrong…
