Feel Ridiculous Even Asking For Advice On This?

April 18th, 2011

My boyfriend and I are both on medication, now we said while one or both of us were on the medication we wouldn’t drink. He was due to come a month after me but his doctor has just told him to stay on his tablets for another 2 months. I finished mine in 3 weeks and in 5 weeks its my graduation. My boyfriend is now saying that if I drink at my graduation I’ll have broken my trust with him and he won’t be able to rely on me. He is quite sensitive but I feel this is just ridiculous and on some level he’s using emotional blackmail saying if I drink I won’t have him afterwards. I feel he should be a) happy I’m coming off my tablets b) happy I’m graduating and c) happy that I want to celebrate. I could just burst in to tears at how petty I feel this is.

Device Manager – Code 39?

April 18th, 2011

Okay, apparently my device drivers are not responding and these drivers are “Universal Serial bus controller”, “Sound, video and game controller” and “Network adapters”. And these devices have the error code 39 “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver mat be corrupted or missing.”
Also, due to this i can’t use my mouse, graphic tablet, volume and the internet.
And i’m left with my keyboard which works.
Can anyone help?

Google Chrome Tablet – First Look

February 9th, 2010

Apple dominated the news on the last week of January with the arrival of iPad – Tablet Computing. Now entering this Tablet Computing race is Google. Often known for its Internet dominance, Google looks to put a big foot on the hardware section with the future computing – Tablet PC. Last week, Google gave a glimpse of projected hand held tablet device. The tablet device of Google will use Google Chrome OS.

What It Offers?

* On Screen Keyboard
* Zooming Functionality
* Creating multiple browsers on screen using a launcher
* Multi-tasking

Though this Google Tablet looks like it would end Apple’s dominance, it remains to be seen whether Google actually has more to offer.

It seems no surprise about Google’s entry into Tablet PCs. With Microsoft and Apple being its competitors, already established well, Google would have to bring something out of the box features to make it impressive.

With a small video clip shown in the chromium blog, Google has now focused more on advanced technology which people are not used to it.
